So finally Hollywood studio Warner Bros are suing Indian producers in relation to a movie they believe infringes the copyright of the “Harry Potter” franchise.
The Warner Bros have filed a lawsuit against Mumbai-based studio Mirchi Movies, who are set to release a film entitled “Hari Puttar - A Comedy of Terrors”. Releasing Sept 12, the film follows the life of a 10-year-old Indian boy who moves to Britain.
Warner Bros believe the name is too similar to the title character of the hugely popular wizard franchise, whose latest film “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” has been pushed back for release until next year.
But Mirchi Movies denies any copyright conflict.
“We registered the ‘Hari Puttar’ title in 2005, and it is unfortunate that Warner Bros has chosen to file a case so close to our film’s release. In my opinion, I don’t think our title has any similarity or links with ‘Harry Potter’,” said Munish Purii, chief executive officer, Mirchi Movies.
The case is listed for hearing in Bombay High Court Monday. Let’s see what happens
I admit i am not much of a fan of Priyanka Chopra but she looks absolutely sexy and stunning on the cover of September 2008 Vogue Magazine. With short hair and a black gown she looks really different.

Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir kapoor among others were at the press conference of Bachna Ae Haseeno. The film was directed by Siddharth Anand whose previous films include Salaam Namaste (2005) and Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007).
The film grossed a nett of Rs.21 crores in its first week. indiafm.com gave it 2.5 star out of 5. Taran Adarsh commented by saying “On the whole, BACHNA AE HASEENO has an interesting first half, but a weak second hour spoils the show. At the box-office, thanks to the hype built around the film, the opening will be good.”
I want to see this movie since i liked both Salaam Namaste and Ta Ra Rum Pum. Plus Ranbir is shown as a game developer who works at Microsoft and is one of the developer of Halo 3 ( A kick ass game )

Bachna Ae Haseeno, Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone who were having a cold war have apparently cleared all the bad rumors and gossip about them in a recently held press conference (apparently on Ranbir’s suggestion).
The two were so eager to prove the rumors wrong that they ended up kissing and hugging each other.
Apparently the ladies first hugged each other, which caused mayhem amongst the paparazzi, and then they kissed and then Deepika exclaimed, “Now that we’ve kissed we hope the press stops making us look like enemies.”
