Sagarika Ghatge is a Marathi speaking Indian actress who portrayed the role of Preeti Sabharwal, a member of the Indian women’s national hockey team, in the 2007 hit film, Chak De India. She was born in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, and is daughter of Vijayendra Ghatge, an actor. She was a hockey player while in school at Mayo College Girls School. As a result of her role in Chak De India, Ghatge has become a representative for Reebok. Sagarika has completed Kishore Namit Kapoor’s acting training course.
She looks real pretty and nothing like the role she played in Chak De.
